After flying from Phu Quoc Island to the city I love the most, Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City), and spending nearly one week exploring this vibrant, modern, and bustling metropolis, it was time to head north to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
This video is a full flight report on the Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Hanoi route — the busiest and most popular domestic air route in Vietnam.

This journey was extra special, as it marked my second time flying onboard the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner — a true “sky resort” and one of the most advanced wide-body aircraft in service today, operated by Vietnam Airlines, the national carrier of Vietnam.

Before departure, I had the chance to experience the brand-new Domestic Terminal 3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Stepping inside for the first time was truly overwhelming — from the bustling atmosphere and ultra-modern architecture to the high ceilings and state-of-the-art design, everything reflects a new era of air travel in Vietnam.

As the largest and busiest airport in the country, Tan Son Nhat offered incredible aviation scenes before boarding. I watched aircraft from many airlines taxi, take off, and land, and admired some of the world’s most advanced airplanes up close — including the Airbus A350, Boeing 777, and of course the magnificent Boeing 787-10, a true masterpiece of modern aviation.

The weather was perfect for both departure and arrival, making for a smooth and comfortable flight. The journey concluded beautifully with a stunning sunset at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) upon arrival in Hanoi.
